Can't get to the auction?

We strongly recommend that you make every effort to attend the auction to bid personally. However, in the event that you are unable to attend, you may be interested to note that by prior arrangement, you can bid by Proxy or by Telephone.

Proxy bidding

You can authorise the Auctioneer to bid on your behalf up to your specified limit. Click here for the form. Complete the form, sign it, then return it with your e-mail address and/or fax number to:

with your deposit cheque and proof of identification (copy of driving licence or utility bill).

Telephone bidding

In most circumstances it is possible for us to receive bids over the telephone in the Auction room.

These services can only be offered once we have received a completed registration form, proof of identity and deposit cheque needs to be completed and returned to us with your cheque for the deposit. These should arrive no later than two days prior to the sale. In all cases please ensure you have seen the addendum which is published the day before the auction.
